Girl Scout Badges & Trail Rides
Junior, Cadet, Senior & Ambassador Girl Scout badges are now available at Kraus Farms!
Kraus Farms Equestrian Center is now approved by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and has met their strong standards for horseback riding. This means you can now earn a variety of different equestrian girl scout badges at Kraus Farms.
Arena Work
Girl Scouts receive instruction on how to ride a horse within an arena. We have both a show size indoor arena and two show size outdoor arenas.
Find out about horse behavior and riding basics. When you’ve earned your badge, you’ll know what it takes to be a good rider—from understanding horse body language to controlling the horse’s speed while you’re riding.
Cost is $70 per Scout.

Trail Rides
Trail Rides are also approved through the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
Scouts go out on a forty-five minute to one hour guided trail ride that takes place in the beautiful hills adjacent to Kraus Farms.
Cost is $70 per scout when booked in advance online. Trail Ride Release Forms must be submitted for each rider prior to participation.
