Wrangler Camp (Full Day, 5 days)

Wrangler Camp (Western Advance Camp: Level 1)  5-day horse riding camp for ages 7-14. Monday – Friday.

Requirements: Must have taken Hats & Chaps camp previously. Campers must be able to walk, trot and canter their horse confidently on the rail. Must be able to steer their horses efficiently at a walk, trot, and canter.  If you are unsure if you qualify for this camp please ask your instructor.

**What to bring**

-water bottle, sack lunch, sunscreen, towel (for sitting on the hay), on wednesday a swimsuit/towel/water shoes for wetwednesday, dollar bills for snack vending machine if desired, an equestrian certified helmet (if you do not have one a helmet will be provided to borrow), closed toed shoes (preferably boots with a heel)

Optional Aftercare

Optional aftercare available from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for additional $15.00 per child per day. $15 fee per day is automatically multiplied by the quantity of campers booked. Check boxes for days needed.

Refund/Change Policy *

Camps are non-refundable after March 15, 2023. A change fee of $75.00 will apply to any order changes made before or after March 15th.

Wrangler Camp (Western Advance Camp: Level 1) 5-day horse riding camp for ages 7-14. Monday – Friday.

If you are unsure if you qualify for this camp please ask your instructor.  Lesson students from outside of Kraus Farms are also welcome as long as they can meet the above requirements! ** What to bring is in the description on the bottom of the page**

  • Goals:
    • Start feeling confident with the patterns for barrel racing and pole bending.
    • Start learning trail class pattern using obstacles such as wooden bridges, open/closing rope gates, etc…
    • Will gain more knowledge and technique with their western pleasure and showmanship skills.
    • The knowledge to bathe a horse.
    • The ability to tack and bridle their horses independently by the middle of the camp week.

Drop Off Between: 7:30am- 8:00am
